Music Reflection 2.0 #8(Friday, 30th April)

Today, Mr. Herry told us how to write in finale. He showed how to put the lyrics, fit measures, adding the chord, or edit the composition detail, such as title and composer.

I understand almost all the features of finale so it's not hard for me.

Now, I need to practice my rondo and ask Mr. Hary to write the chord for my composition.

Music Reflection 2.0 #7(Wednesday, 28th April)

Today, Mr. Herry gave me the test result. I'm satisfied with my score because I got 42 out of 46, the highest in the class. Too bad I didn't get perfect score. For the exam, I need to perform my ABACA rondo composition. Then, Mr. Herry checked our blog updates.

Now, I need to start practising the scale and rondo composition in flute for my exam.

Music Reflection 2.0 #6(Friday, 23rd April)

Today, I did the B section of my rondo composition. The pattern is 1-2,3-4. After I finished, I copied all of my A section. So, now only C section is empty.

I think I understand all the pattern well, so I could do my structure of the composition correctly.

Now, I need to write my reflection and upload my video by the end of this week

Music Reflection 2.0 #5(Wednesday, 21st April)

Today, I gave my hard copy of the finale homework to Mr. Herry. Then, while the other students were doing their reflections in the library, he showed us some advertisement video that used song, such as Coca-cola and LG. Then, I made the A section of the ABACA rondo composition.

I already finished the finale task last week, so I didn't have to rush and do it last night. I don't really know how every note sounds, so I only made the draft version of my rondo composition.

Now, I need to try playing my A section of the composition to test how it sounds

Music Reflection 2.0 #4(Friday, 16th April)

Today, I watched some movies on youtube. The first one was called "When You Say Nothing at All". It was about Alison Krauss who sang that song. The song had a slow-moderate tempo. It's a popular type of music. The second video is about Katherine McPhee from American Idol. She was singing "Over the Rainbow". It was a very famous song. She sang it very while and sometimes she interacted with the audiences. Her version of the song had few differences to the original. The third song was about grade 10 student called Adelin Koji. She performed her own composition using piano.

Music Reflection 2.0 #3(Wednesday, 14th April)

Today, I took the second chance for the test. The test questions were almost similar to the one from last week. After I finished it, Mr. Herry showed Arya's and Fred's video on their blog.

I think I did well on all the notations questions, because they were pretty easy. But, I'm not really sure about the history questions. I think I only managed to answer half of it. So, I think I made a lot of mistakes in that section.

Now, I need to finish my finale homework and don't forget to write the reflection

Music Reflection 2.0 #2(Friday, 9th April)

Today, I did the musical notation quiz. It was about scales, triad and major and minor chord. It also had some history questions. Then, Mr. Herry told us about the finale project that must be submitted by Friday next week.

I think I did well for the test, except the history part because I don't really

remember all of the history of music.

Now, I need to buy finale software and copy my composition to be submitted

next week. I also need to read some history for next week test
